My mother was visiting at us and she asked:"What do you acctually do?" I replied:"Software testing." She then asked:"How to explain it to your grandma?" Me:"Umh... It's like testing Lego buildings. First I try to push it gentle. If it doesn't fall, then I try a bit harder. And if nothing else helps, I get hammer and hit it." My kids loved that explanation. Now they are telling to their friends (proudly):"My dad is nerd and he kicks down Lego buildings!"
Lol, I love that! I've got two little boys who I'm sure will play Lego in the next few years, so I'll have to remember your explanation. Although I don't look forward to when they'll call me a nerd!

I'm a tester, I test, some days I enjoy testing. I follow a few testing blogs and when ever I can I add comments in test forums. I hope through the test cartoon blog, testers will understand something new about the craft of testing. You can contact me on cartoontesting@gmail.com
